This year's theme is entitled: "Men, Women, and Children of the Movement: A Living Museum of Civil Rights in America. Our theme was inspired by the historical film, "Women of the Movement," the story of Mamie Till Mobley, who devoted her life seeking justice for the brutal murder of her son Emmett Till in the Jim Crow South. This year, we would like to honor the men, women, and children, past and present, who have formed organizations and movements to promote equal rights.
