Welcome to the website of Carbondale Elementary School District. The district has an enrollment of approximately 1400 students served by 125 highly qualified teachers and 40 support staff. Carbondale Elementary School District 95 offers its students the opportunity to learn several foreign languages beginning at grade four. Instrumental and vocal music training is available beginning at grade four, while violin instruction is offered at grade two. The district's curriculum is completely aligned to the Illinois Learning Standards in all core areas. Strong teacher preparation in conjunction with programs such as Reading Recovery, Everyday Math, Reading Renaissance, and hands-on-science have been responsible for our students' strong test performance. The mission of the educational team of CES95 is to prepare each student for the challenges of the future.
